If you want to create a website, you need two things - a domain name and a web hosting plan for it. The domain registration is the actual web address which you type in an Internet browser to access a website, while the hosting space is where your website data is going to be. These are 2 tightly connected, yet separate services, while many people think that registering the domain is enough. Very similar to the disk space and the monthly traffic features which a given hosting plan provides, there are a certain number of registered domains which you can include as hosted which means that you can have the web content for them in some account even if the domains have been registered using a different firm. In technical terms, it doesn't matter if a domain is registered and hosted with the same company or is registered with one company and pointed to another - in either case your websites will operate exactly the same way.

Hosted Domains in Hosting

The hosting plans that we provide allow you to host a different number of domain addresses. In this way, you can choose what plan to purchase and how much to pay based on your requirements. If you decide to host more domain addresses at some point than the number the current plan permits you to, you can effortlessly upgrade your entire plan or even keep the same one and only add more slots for hosted domain names. If you decide to employ the registration services of another company, you will be able to see the name servers you need to set for your domains in order to point them to our cloud platform in the Hosted Domains area of the CP on our end. If you want to have everything in 1 spot, however, there is no limit on the number of domain addresses which you can register/transfer within your account no matter the hosting plan that you have picked. Then you can decide if you will host any of them or you'll forward them to other existing domains.
